Our name comes from Pad Krapow, one of Thailand’s most loved dishes. It’s fast, fiery, fragrant and impossible to ignore. We thought that sounded a lot like the restaurant we wanted to build.
The fighter in our logo isn’t a god, a king or a celebrity. He’s a symbol of spirit, energy and resilience. A reminder that great Thai food isn’t delicate or timid. It should be bold. It should make an impression.
Ning grew up in Thailand surrounded by the flavours we serve today. The food we love isn’t designed by a committee and it isn’t softened to fit expectations. It’s the food friends share around a table, the food sold from carts at midnight, the food that makes people sweat, smile and order another beer.
We believe Thai food should be exciting.
That doesn’t mean every dish is hot. It means every dish should have character. Sweet should be sweet. Sour should be sour. Herbs should taste fresh. Chillies should taste like chillies.
Sometimes the flavours are gentle.
Sometimes they hit like a Muay Thai roundhouse.
Either way, they’re unapologetically Thai.
